Guess I have just been in a tinker'in mood

This stock the forearm lock up was lacking. So I shimmed the shoe and got the lock up just right. I also did another little trick some may want to try. I epoxy bedded the shoe to the forearm. With the shims on the forearm after trial and just laying there. I added epoxy to the back of the shoe, then screwed it on, wiped off the epoxy that oozed out. This worked very well and filled the small gabs I had between the ears of the shoe and the imperfect surface of the laminate forearm, I had previously cut down a whisker to far. It really worked well and looks great. I also floated and bedded the forearm.
I went to the 100 yard range and shot 3 shot groups with my 40 gr V Max reloads that averaged in the .6" - .7" range from bags,12x scope in nice weather.
This photo is after the work, pre-testing on my home 50 yard range. I was very pleased and have it shooting as well as the other stock, maybe better.
Still on deck is the trigger job. Still shooting the factory trigger. It wasn't bad, but is holding the groups back for sure at this point.
