9mm Sig Pro SP2009
« on: April 16, 2007, 07:12:29 AM »
I am selling my Sig Pro 9mm model SP2009 and am wondering what would be a reasonable asking price.  It is probably in 98%-99% condition with somewhere between 500 and 1000 rounds through it.  It has an all black finish.  Included with it are both factory 10rd magazines, owners manual, original case, cable lock, and an uncle mikes holster if I can find it.  It also was a special model that has a safety on the slide that allows you to carry the pistol "cocked and locked".  Let me know what is a good asking price and also if anyone would be interested.

I've seen them go anywhere between $375 - $475.

Most places they will run about $550+ NIB.  You can find a few good deals if you search around for about $490 NIB.
Remington 7600 - 30.06Sprg, currently topless.
Remington 700XCR - .338RUM, Burris Fullfield II 3-9x/40, Burris Dovetail rings and base mounts.

SigPro 2022 - .40S&W
Glock 26 O.D.

I sold my Sip Pro at a gun show last weekend.  I tried to sell it at some local gun shops and even Cabelas, but the most they would give me is $250.  The dealer at the gun show gave me $355 for it and I made a trade for a S&W 66-1 that was priced at $425.  So I ended up getting the gun for $80.  I figured that $355 for my sig was pretty good since I only paid $400 for it 3 years ago.  I went back and looked at his table and he had the gun priced at $430.  I was kinda surprised that he was trying to sell the gun used for more than what I paid for it new.  I know that the new ones cost about $550 now.
