Hey,
Only 100 bullets down the tube of the new .204 (see 527 Varmit!!) and I got bit again.

Went in the gun shop tonight to check on a pistol I had on consignment....and I bought a 452 Lux - used in NIB condition. (about $150 under list!)
Go figure, I was thinking of gettin a 308 - Savage, Tikka....not really sure at this point. Last thing I expected (or needed) was another .22 LR. Got talking to a Dad and his 13 year old son I saw last week at the range, about guns, - the kids really got the bug.
Anyway, went round and round about what the kid's next gun should be (bought a mossy 12 ga for his first). He ,was thinking .308, 30-06, etc. I suggested he get a nice .22, cheap to shoot and will have to pass down to his kids.
Went through the .22 rack looking for a gun for him and I came across a 452 LUX - used, although you wouldn't know it - that I couldn't put down. That curved LUX stock, beautiful wood, full length wood forearm, classic sights, and fit like a glove! ....Damn! The CZ bug bit again! FYI - I offered it to the kid but he didn't have the $$$$ to get into it. We did find a really nice, new Savage bolt for $189, he said he needed $90 more to buy.
Put a $100 down, to return with the rest later.

Gotta do my homework, think I read somewhere that the trigger (not a set) can be replaced with a riflebasix unit, to really clean it up. Haven't told the wife...yet (maybe won't).
Now I gotta buy another scope

Man, these things are addictive.
