M29 Mountain Gun sights

Hi,another M29 mg question.Does S&W or anyone else make replacement sights for my 4inch M29 mountain Gun ? I think i'll have problems with the black on black sights.
When i told the dealer i'd like to put some hi-viz fiber sights on the front of the gun he almost choked.He said i'd be ruining a "classic" !

Seems like it would be easy enough to put a red ramped insert in your front and white outlined rear on? Brownells used to sell kits for the red (and many other colors)ramp front inserts, if you don't feel comfortable doing it have a local gunsmith do it
