I hope these pics come up.  This is the first time trying to post on this site.  This is my 58cal that I was happy to find a few months ago.  Check out the custom ramrod :)

I have never seen a handy version with brass.  It would dress up a buff. classic real nice. Was the 58 the only gun with them?

Thanks quickdtoo   :)  How did you fix the pics?  I didn't want people to have to click on the pics.  I don't have any idea motordog80 with the brass.  My father has two 58s, my cousin has 4 and none of them have brass on them.  So I don't know if that is from factory or if a gunsmith did the brass work.

The easiest way to show the pics embedded, is to hit the "insert image" icon which is the 8th from the left just above the smileys, make sure the image url is placed where the cursor is between the image brackets so it looks like this  but with [ instead of parens around the image URL. (img)http://yadayada.jpg(/img)

Does anyone know of a source for brass or steel furniture to replace the plastic stuff on the BC and Handi's.........Norm

Not any more, H&R used to offer blued steel trigger guards and forend spacers, but they no longer do. A member here is working on em in steel or brass, but that remains to be seen whether it can be done.

thanks for the comments.  I think I was really, really lucky to find one with all that brass on it.  It is hard enough to find a 58cal huntsman in the first place ;D
