Went out last Thursday to a family member's farm pond. It's about an acre in size. Caught three nice channels in 3 hours, two were around 8lb, one was close to 11lbs. Using good ole' chicken livers and some store bought cut herring in wine sauce (hey, something different). They were biting really light though, almost like a bream. Thank goodness for Gamakatsu Octopus Circle Hooks, my favorite hook.
