Factory rings on new Tikkas

In recent years, the Tikkas came with, in my opinion, a somewhat cheaper type set of rings, but I have heard the new Tikkas are now supplied with Sako opti-locks. Is that true? Just what exactly are the factory furnished rings you guys are getting with new Tikkas these days?

The Sako optilock rings came with my T3, just purchased in February. They look like quality to me. I've mounted a scope in them and don't expect problems but will monitor them for a while to be sure they are solid. Someone with long time optilock experience could tell you more.

 The ones that came with the .338 I just bought don't look like the Optilocks on my Sako but they are way more stout than the ones that used to come with my other Tikkas.

Got it, thanks gents.

I was posting on another board offering my opinion of the cheaper rings to a guy contimplating the new Tikkas, then I remembered that the new Tikkas came with an upgrade in rings but I cound not remember just what exactly they were.

FWIW the T3 I purchased in November of last year was definately not supplied with the OptiLoks.  I saw a set of rings on ebay, IIRC, that said "Tikka" on the package.  They looked much different than the ones supplied with my rifle.
