.223 SUPERLITE
« on: March 21, 2007, 03:45:27 AM »
I called around yesterday to get prices on this gun. Gander Mtn wanted $300., local gun shop wanted $270., and Wal-mart only wanted $217.
I was telling some guys about this and one of them said that the guns that Wal-mart sells are blemished or second rate. Do any of you know if this is true or is it just a rumor? If so, is this something that is major or minor that won't effect accuracy?
                               Thanks,
                                   Barry

I have never heard this before. If they were factory seconds I'm pretty sure they would have to make it known to the buyer.

I've seen it before on the net, it's BS, Walmart buys their firearms from Sports South, the same distributor a lot of other retailers use. Right now, the Superlight youth is in stock, but not the full size Handi.

I ordered mine there.
No problem with the gun.
Takes forever to do paper work though.

I thought the same thing, but I just wanted to make sure, and get others opinions.  :-\
