Here's a rare LNIB beauty I stumbled across tonight, while looking for S&W semiautos! Been a long time since I saw one of these fine old 52's for sale in any condition, let alone like new in box! Serial number indicates very early 1970's production!

Looked up that odd serial number with "A" prefix and "A" suffix. Supica says these are rare variations used by S&W when a serial number was accidentally assigned to two guns! They simply added a "A" suffix to remedy the problem!
