Hey all,
Yesterday, I saw a .22 mag marked as H&R Ultra, with the laminate stock. According to the '07 catalog, this rifle should have a bull barrel. While this rifle was pretty heavy, I attributed that to the stock, and the barrel did not seem that "bull"ish, especially compared to the .223 bulls I've seen. Am I comparing apples and oranges?
How can I be certain that a .22 mag barrel is the bull barrel? Can I eyeball it by taper? What is the barrel diameter at the muzzle on a .22 mag bull barrel?
Thanks.
