Has anyone had any experience with Eabco barrels?  Are they quality barrels?  Any thoughts?

I've never had one, heck, I don't even have an Encore or Contender now, but their barrels used to be made with Shilen blanks.  I guess they still are.  I've talked to Eben Brown a couple of times on the phone and through email, and he's a pretty good guy IMO.  Seems to know what he's doing, and his 97D rifles are nice to look at and shoot like a dream.  If I still had an Encore and wanted a custom barrel, he's one of the first I'd look at.

I have bought a few things off them over the years.  They are nice people to deal with.  I did try to order one of their barrels a few months ago.  The person who answered the phone tried to talk me into buying a Fox Ridge barrel from them, instead of their own barrel.  So I ordered a Fox Ridge, but I bought it from Fox Ridge instead of EABCO.  I then sold that barrel and ordered an MGM barrel instead.  I wanted a bull barrel, and I ordered the Fox Ridge the wrong way.  I think you asked me about that barrel on another web site.  Tom.

I have one of his rifle's in 219 Donald Wasp, 2 of his silhouette pistols. Very accurate!! When I shoot the 219, it's in the 5/8 to 3/4 inch at 100yds., all the time. If it' an inch, it's me. The only trouble I had, was I had ordered one of his pistols in the 7us chambering, and he didn't cut the recess for the rim deep enough. And when a round went into the chamber, sometimes the block would not close. I called him up, sent the gun back and he fixed it no charge. I'm sure that any of his barrels will be as accurate as any out there. We keep trying peace, it usually doesn't work!!Remember(12/7/41)-(9/11/01) gypsyman

I have two of their barrels and have been very pleased.  They are in 204 Ruger and 260 Remington calibers.  Each are MOA barrels.  I plan to buy additional barrels and will buy theirs.

Wish you luck.
