Encore w/ long scope

This may sound weird, but I was wondering if anyone has pics of their T/C's with longer scopes (15"ish).  I have a 26"SST 25-06 w/ a hardwoods thumbhole stock that now wears a vx-1 3x9 leupy.  I want more magnification, but want to know if it will look weird.  I'm thinkin 4.4x14x44 Cabela's Alaskan Guide(14.9").  I would appreciate it if anyone could help me out and post some pictures of their guns w/ the length of the scopes.  Thanks in advance, Brett

Encores and Contenders look weird anyway; why worry about a scope making them look more weird?  If I wanted more magnification, I would and have put a long scope on an Encore (a Tasco 4-16X).  I thought it looked just fine.  Please note, I'm not in any way recommending a Tasco scope; I got rid of it not because it looked bad but because it failed to hold its zero and I didn't trust it.

I have a Bushnell Elite with a 5-15 scope and a long sunshade on a Contender rifle with a 23 inch barrel.  The scope goes more than half way to the end.  It may look a little wierd but it works great.

Here's a PH .243 wearing a Nikon Monarch 6.5-20 with sunshade....  Regarding 'looks'.... something just isn't right proportionately between the stock heavy bbl forearm and the length of the PH barrels.  Just too much bbl length and not enough forearm IMHO.
