« on: March 07, 2007, 10:24:11 AM »
New to x-bow, have a parker buckmaster @300 fps. @20 yds. sighting dead on using 420 gr. shaft. What kinda a drop should I be lookin at 40 yds. The reason I am asking, while shooting it the other day. sighted in about 2 inches high @20 yds., using the 3rd stadia on my scope was low @ 40 yds. Signed confused.

excuse the lower case and no caps pecking away with one hand the other splinted after carpal tunnel surgery. if the scope is not made for the speed of the xbow or your shooing a heavier arrow it will shoot lower. how much depends on the speed of the bow and the arrow weight. that is why excaliber makes the varizone scope thay has a dial to set the scope to the speed of the bow. i would suppose you could also tweak it for the arrows you shoot. most other scopes do not have this feature.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.
