That is one fine looking rifle.  Honestly, if I saw a rifle as nice as that one on a rack somewhere I would  buy it, even if it is in a caliber I don't have, yet.  Mikey.

Nice gun, I allways wanted a 7x57. I'll bet it's a tack driver with ight recoil. I can't quite tell what kind of scope you have on there, REdfield?
RIP Mike. Died on July 14th, around 2am, with his family at his side, he went peacefully to be with god.

Yupp redfield solid 4 power, the scope is older than me and i just turned 21.  Yes it is a tack drive, it had a custom barrel put on one point in time,  Itsa a jacks gun shop barrel my grandpa and him use to build guns all the time and them my dad did also but now that all of them are passed away.  I am the only one in the family that lovers to tinker, modify, ectt.. guns.  I dod also have a pretty sweet 218 bee my grandpa made ill have to post some pics of that

Here's one of my 7x57's.  Yugo action, Douglas barrel, Gentry safety, Timney trigger and maybe the first synthetic stocked Yugo.  We had to modify the screw hole spacing and ring locaton to get it to fit a '98 stock.

Andy, here's a photo of my 7x57mm. It is a CZ 550 American wearing a Leupold 4x12 scope in Talley Basis. I refinished the stock with GB Lindspeed Oil, glass-bedded the action and first inch and one-half of the barrel with BedPro 2000, free-floated the barrel, had a gunsmith polish the bolt handle from the flat black to the nickel look you see in the photo and had him also jewel the bolt with a small herringbone pattern. I can't afford a custom job, so did what I could to this one. It shoots half-inch groups with the 160 grain bullet. The other photo is of two groups, one shot with 48.3 grains of H414 and the other with 48.9 grains of powder, each with the 162 grain Hornady SST bullet. For all of you who have seen these photos time and time again I am sorry. I am, however, proud of this rifle. Tom Purdom
