7mm-08
« on: February 26, 2007, 09:27:30 AM »
Well now that my son and me are into handgun hunting, my wife wants to join in also.  Picked her up a Pro Hunter SS frame.  Since me and my son shoot .308 Win she wanted something different just not bigger than the .308.  So we got her a Pro Hunter 7mm-08 15” barrel.  I have not opened it out of the vacuum package yet.  I have read on this forum that this can be finicky to reload.  I like the choice since I can get the same bullets weights as the .308 up to the 160-grain range but can also load it way down.  Any comment on the 7mm-08 would be great.  Thanks.

My 7-08 was never finicky, just very accurate.

The 7mm08 I had drove tacks. It would take just about anything I threw in it and get good groups.  ;)
