Remington 673 guide gun
« on: February 25, 2007, 03:47:31 PM »
Anybody bought or used one? Like it or not? Also I can't remember if the trigger is easily adjustable on the "Model 7".
Considering it in .308
Thanks

I bought one in 6.5 Mag, but I havent been able to use it yet, since it had to go back to Remington for Factory Warranty service.

So far it's been gone almost five weeks.

I have a thread going on in the Remington Forum, here in GBO, concerning the 673 6.5mm mag that I bought last November.  It is titled 'My 673 Guide Gun Saga'.  Laying it out once in print is enough for me.

If things turn out like I believe they will, I will not be sorry I bought the 673.  (wishful thinking???)

I wanted to buy that 6.5 mag for a while.  I bought 3 new Remingtons last year, including two different models of the .30-06 Anniversary that Remington put out, and the 673.  I also have another 673 in another caliber on hold.

But I don't mind telling you, if I am not completely satisfied with the job that was done with the 6.5 mag, I will be hard pressed to ever buy another Remington.

I went into this problem with an open mind.  I have read more than one description of problems others have had.  I am putting everything down in the thread that happens, without embellishing the facts.
