Well it went like this :shock: IT HIT MY SHOOTING GLASSES but, did not hurt it just let me know hey I do kick when you get to close.I did get the best groups ever with the 75gr V-MAX and 30.2grs of IMR4064 5 shots@100=.274 I'm sure if I had just a tad more eye relief it would have been ok.I may try a Simmons AETEC 3.8x12 it has a 5" eye relief.

It is good that all went well using a rifle scope on your 6mmBR. What scope were you using? But my main intrest is in the Simmons Aetec. I would like to try a scope with a 5 inch eye relief on my .223 and maybe the 6mm TCU that I got from Billy Marr. How many $$$'s are they asking for this scope and where are you getting it from. Did you try hand holding the 6BR or was it from bags or a rest.

I shot it from the bag using a Simmons Whitetall Classic 3.5x10.The Simmons ATEC can be had form Midsouth for $152.75 for the 3.8x12 or $134.16 for the 2.8x10

good going pj. it seems my .223 only hit me when i was shooting from the bench. i think the riflescope will work great from stix in the field. i also have a great .223 load now that has a little less recoil. 13.5gr of blue dot powder with 40gr nosler bt's shoots super.
