Weather's got to get better

I'm really getting cabin fever.Warm weather and spring better hurry.I'm running out of things to do.Painted the 22lr and made a new fore arm for the 17m2.Wife thinks I'm going crazy.Dave

Thanks guys.The"spacer"is just a thin black paint line seperating the maple from the walnut end that I doweled and glued on.Stimp the painted ones are the black plastic set that came on it.It was just some thing to do.If it wasn't so windy here today it'd be not to bad to go do some shooting.Dave

That's what's in them now.Keep my change in them.Been about 8 yrs since I bought one of them.Gave it up.Getting to old to feel that bad the next day. ::)Dave

Quick i just realised what you said about the spacer.Yes It's all wood.A lot of measuring and cutting with a rotary file in my drill press.Didn't figure that it would hurt.The 17m2 has 0 recoil and it fits pretty darn good.

Thanks Quick.That end was a real bear to do.It's also why i had to put the walnut end piece on.I screwed the first attempt and had to cut it off.



Still I like it this way.Barrels floated from the screw forward and didn't hurt the accuracy at all.
