30/30 handi question ?

when seating the Hornady 150 SP can you seat to the cannelure  or do you have to seat beyond to fit the handi rifle chamber?

I have played with the H 150g spire points and if I seated to the cannelure, the bullet would be driven into the rifling on lock up.  So I seated a little deeper and all was well.

As above, seat the bullet beyond the cannelure otherwise the pointed bullet sticks in the rifling. First couple I did stuck so hard they wouldn't eject so had to pop em out with a cleaning rod from the wrong end. It's not that the Handi 30-30 chamber is short compared to a leveraction chamber but the 150 grain sp crimp ring placement wasn't designed for a 30-30 chamber.
