Light weight scope mounts

Who makes a good set of light-weight scope mounts (rings & bases)?  I'm putting together a light-weight mountain rifle and don't want something too heavy.

Weaver makes aluminum bases and rings.  Or you can use my favorite, weaver aluminum bases and Burris Zee steel rings.

Yeah, I gotta agree with ya', weaver bases with burris z-rings are my favorite too.  What about a Talley style setup?

I like the weaver bases and weaver rings.  Easy to remove the scope and very light weight.  Also these mounts are fairly inexpensive.  If money doesn't make much difference the ConeTrol setups are very light for all steel mounts.  They are sturdy and very clean.  Still the weavers while not 'new' are a fine old standby that still works just fine.  I have a set on a light weight rig of my own.  It's an early Winchester M54 (with the schnable forearm tip) chambered in 250 Savage.  On top is an old model Lyman Alaskan in 4 power (3/4 inch tube) in Weaver mounts.  Lovely little rifle and scope.

S&K makes some really nice "projectionless" rings, similar to the Conetrol.  Difference is, you don't need 8 hands and 3 feet to put the S&K's on.  I had a set of Conetrol's and they are really good rings and bases.  But man they are aggravating to install.

Talley is not selling a new style set of light weight mounts.....base and bottom half of rings are one piece and the top of the ring is the other.  About 3 ounces I believe.
