Anyone out there have experience reloading for the 204 Handi. I'd be glad to hear of your successes/problems
I have a target with a five shot 1-1/4MOA group. This is the only target I shot for group before the weather turned too cold to shoot

I have never bought factory ammo so I don't know the cost. Anyway I am in Canada and the price structure is different than in the states. You ought to consider reloading as it can be done very economically with Lee equipment. Also, I think that depending on where you live availability can be a problem.

Ruger ammo was $13 a box locally when I bought mine in 2004, but I suspect it's considerably more now! Cabelas wants $34-$36 for the HSM and Win White box. Midsouth is still selling the Hornady for $13, Federal for $16.

McLernon, I've had some good results with between 28.0 and 28.8gr of AR2206H (equivalent powders
http://www.adi-limited.com/handloaders-guide/equivalents.asp
) and 32gr Hornady Vmax, using FLS once fired Hornady brass and Federal LR primers.
Need to do some more testing though.

Most I know reload with BLC-2 About 30grarns 32 grain V-max.
I think Mitchall was using that load at the 05 P. Dog shoot.
That's what my son and I use. No factory ammo has gone in our rifles.
Great for P. dogs. Marv.

Maybe Benchmark might be a better selection than Varget

ok, sounds good, i was just looking at pressures, and was hoping to have a similar powder for two or three cartridges if possible. i will probably have individual powders though, even as much as i would like to use one for all.
