Tune in here for the results of  the 1st South African Invitational golf-ball mortar making contest.

Four - count them - FOUR sets of materials (the iron parts - 1144 SP) have been sent, in care of DD, to SA!

DD - in case  you didn't know it, it's a contest now!   ;D ::) :D

Just out of curiosity, what are the rules in SA on ML cannons. I know Douglas shoots the miniature guns, does SA allow full scale guns?

The rules are yet to be determined.

Since DD hasn't posted on this I'm sure he isn't aware of it yet, although he did request the ir'n.

These will be FULL SCALE golf-ball caliber mortars!

Cannons are prohibited in South Africa.  The club has a letter from the Minister fo Justice stating that the clubs Guns are not cannons as defined in the law. full scale guns are prohibited, but exist. Ask no questions and I can tell you no tales...

Club guns fall vaguely under the description of a muzzle loading firearm.
