223 accessory barrel
« on: February 06, 2007, 10:17:41 AM »
Since I am going to be sending in my 243 Handi to get fixed (the barrel doesn't fit tight when locked up, it rocks side to side), I have been thinking of getting a 223 barrel for it at the same time.  What barrel is generally the most accurate?  I have been thinking of the 24" bull barrel.

Thanks

They all have pretty good records from what I have seen.
The heavier you go the more shots you get before it heats up.
Then the accuracy goes down.

Don't buy a superlight if you need more than two or three shots at a time.
Standard and heavy barrels both shoot very well.

I've got a 24" bull in .223 and it is a tack driver.   ;D
