Dear twodollarpistol,
I don't think anything is even close to out of hand :-)

I meant to leave a post of something strange I seen in the outdoors in hope a few people would read it and maybe enjoy it, I never cared if someone believed it or not, poke fun all you like, that is your right. :-)

What proof do you want? Do you want a dead animal that was killed solely just to prove it's existence? I understand mistaken identities, but you have got to put yourself in my position, I am no amateur or novice deer tracker, I have tracked Grey Fox across wild green fields and have the pelts to prove it....I have hunted and killed "EVERY SPECIES IN MY AREA" and a lot of animals that don't live here and I have yet to find one with a track that is 15 3/4 inches long with the widest part in the front being 8" and the widest part in the rear being a hair over 4" and a toe to heel stride of nearly 40". How could I "misidentify" that?

Also tracking this creature was not easy as one would think something of it's size would be, the only tracks I found that looked like the traditional bigfoot tracks were the ones that was out in the open like the creature hurried across and for good reason.

Some people assume that a "bigfoot" size creature would leave a trail like a semi across a cornfield but that is not the case....ask any hog hunter from south Alabama how hard it is to track a 500lb hog through the thick stuff and swamps down there.

I sent the hair off by the way, I even got some hair with the root still attached....the report filed by a Zoologist with my contact blows your theory of misidentification out the water.

One last note and I will shut up.....If the creature is as big as my cousin said it was, the foot is not that "big" compared to the rest of it's body, so I think Bigfoot is a horrible name for the creature.

Happy Hunting  :D

7magWoodsman:  Man, you have certainly tweaked my curiousity with your experiences, and your theory about the Bigfoot use of the Manmouth Cave chain/complex is absolutely fascinating.  It would certanly explain how a group of knowing creatures could travel the length and breadth of this continent, as well as other parts of this world and literally never be seen.

Also, the 'pork chop' episode is pretty thrilling.  It would be one thing to have seen but one pair of eyes, but to have seen 4 pair at the same time would have really shaken me up.

I also accept (quite easily) your arguements about keeping our two species separate, although I would love to be able to encounter and possibly communicate with one of these creatures.  Going out on a limb here, I would assume they have natural intelligence and the ability to communicate between themselves and may even live collectively.  If they are dangerous I would certainly want to be able to defend myself but I wonder if they are not just somewhat curious about what we are doing when they do catch a glimpse of us.  I can also understand their reactions to some of the different situations I have read about on this, and other threads and would hope that should I ever encounter one, or more, that the experience would be mutually enjoyable.  That being said, I am willing to sacrifice my sister although Mr. Bigfoot might not really appreciate that after a while (lol - I had jokingly mentioned that on a previous post).

Personally I would love to hear the results of the laboratory tests on the hair samples you have found.  I would also love to think about the possible evidence that might be found within that cave complex - what a wonderful find that would be to finally be able to provide evidence of another species that we could learn to leave alone and not hunt into extinction.  Although I am afraid that any positive proof of their existence might bring in the hordes..........

I have followed your previous comments and want to assure you I think this is fascinating.  I have spent many a night alone in the woods in many different parts of this world and am dang glad I learned how to climb big trees a long time ago.  I make it a point to bring extra rope for my hammock just in case I feel like spending the night in a tree well above ground level.  The thought of being in a sleeping bag on the ground in an area populated by large dangerous critters relates directly to being some carnivore's (or omnivore's) dinner and I wouldn't care for that.  The thought of being in a tent on the ground in the same area almost translates to me being a soft shell taco.  On the other hand, the story about one of the large hairy men safeguarding that child is reassuring, although not by an awful lot.

Would you please reconsider, or just consider providing some of the information from the laboratory tests.  I think that would be fascinating.  Thanks.  Mikey.

There does seem to be a lot of talk and no puddin'.

I'd really like to see something concrete. If you show me some real proof then I'll retrack my "Tea" statement. Until then you will just have to be a little softer on us "unbelievers" 'cause we're gonna poke fun until then.

Have you ever seen those fake monster feet that make really large foot prints in the sand that are available from some of the trinket catalogs? Man those things are large and could be real scary if you didn't know the truth. How about the monster masks that seem to abound around the month of October? Some of those look real too.

Puddin'.......................... that's what we want................puddin. Not stories of puddin' or how good it tastes.

Please don't take this as being meanspirited but just try and be on our side of the fence and listen to this stuff. It sounds like flying saucer stories with leprechauns at the wheel. It really is far out sounding.

Why can't you provide us the proof that you say that you have collected? Post some of it.

A dead body would do just fine. Or mabe a piece of bone, or a tooth, or a petrified pile of dung. Kinda like we have from dinosaurs. Or absolutely anything that would be accepted by the MAINSTREAM scientific community. shaky out of focus photos and plaster cast of foot prints dont cut it for me. Way to easy to fake. I find that some people seek knowledge and some people dont. I wont accept anything like this as truth without  prof positive. It seems that every time someone reports something like this and are asked for evidence there is always excuses. Just excuses, like I want to protect the creature, or my dog ate it, or something. If they are using the caves there will be all sorts of evidence that could be collected and studied without spiling a single drop of blood, but if I ever do see something like this,
I'll shoot the daylights out of it and wont blink an eye. So basically it comes down to put up or shut up. If you got proof- show it, if you dont-shut up about it.

Do you think you can totaly disrespect the chef and still get the puddin' for free?

I CAN provide "some" proof to an extent, and was actually looking forward to doing so, and still will to someone who deserves such...Thank you for reading and also your time you spent communicating with me on this matter, even though it was spent putting me down. I just wish this experience could have been more rewarding for you and more enjoyable for me.

Good Day.

Who are you trying to convince? Yourself? I never went into the cave, I never looked for bone.

You think my respect for something is an excuse? I am glad I don't live around you.

You would shoot it with out blinking an eye? You sir, would never get a good shot on it, and a bad shot, I fear, would lead to a missing person report. You have to think about a few things....How smart is an animal of this size? Has it learned that Humans use tools, such as rifles? will it know that the rifle is pointed at him/her? Do they use tactics themselves?

You tell me to "shut up" and then call it "respectful"?  Humor me on that...

If you would have treated me with even an ounce of dignity I would have happily relished you with all the findings of the professionals whom I seeked out afterwards....."One bad apple ruins the bushel."

Good Day.

7magWoodsman;      I believe you there maybe something that makes sense of all this with all the sightings of them there has to be something out there.  Thanks for the post and i don't blame you if you don't keep us informed.                                                          BigBill

I won't shoot one either to prove what I'm hearing and if i see one its just like the mountianlion I've seen in Vermont I was made fun of that sighting too on a mountainlion posting site too.

Mr 7mag.  First let me say that Im not trying to convince any body of anything. You are. I didn't report something strange and hard to believe, while declining to offer proof, then get my hackles up when someone questioned me on it . If you will go back to my first post of Fri. the 20th and read it you will find that I explained my position in a VERY respectful manner. I haven't called you a liar and I tried to give your dignity and character all the space it needs. I do question that which I don't know or understand. I do want proof. And as I have stated earlier I enjoy poking a little fun at folks from time to time. If I have hit as nerve, Im sorry---but thats life. If you stick your neck out far enough, someone will chop it off for you. When you make a controversial statement or claim, don't be surprised when controversy results from it. And thats ALL I got to say bout that. Have a wonderful life.

I got kidnapped by a space alien one time. It had big green eyes and a nose like Jimmy Durante. His feet were as big as my wife's and his ears were pointed like Mr. Spocks's and he had hair like Phylis Diller. I can't prove it. I had a .44 mag with me and could have shot it but I had too much respect for it because it didn't shoot me with a ray gun first even though kidnapping is a crime and I would have been justified in doing it. The space craft is still there but I won't tell anybody where it is and I got some of its green blood along with a hair sample and sent it off to be analized by a friend at Georgetown University but I'm not going to let anybody see it or the results of it because you won't believe what I'm saying. I'm not making this up....... really.

Do you believe me? Of course not. Why? Because its pretty far out there isn't it.

Proof................. that's what we are looking for.

Just post the proof. Prove us naysayers wrong.

Hey 45LC-man and Twodollarpistol :D
How about you two have a cup of coffee and shut the hell up
If you two want to be believers, then come on down here, give me a P.M. and I`ll give you directions, come in Oct, and later, we`ll hunt only during the full moon phases. Once you see em, you`ll be changing your underwear. and running back to your mommy :-D  :-D . Yes, we will try to kill one. I had a good chance last year, ( was only 17ft away), it was dark, with the full moon, running the 4 wheeler with lights out, using the moon for my light, and one stood not 17-20ft away.
I dont blame you guys for being skeptical, Hell I was, till I had my first encounter. Oh by the way, I`m the one that started this post.

do exist...Giganticopithicus was a huge forest ape living in Asia thousands of years ago....Scientists had thought that they had become extinct although a number of primate scientists, including Jane Goodall, are changing their minds and are coming to believe that they continue to exist as Bigfoot in N America, Yeti in Asia, Alamasty in Siberia, Yeran in China, etc......If you're really interested check out www.bfro.net

thanks WorkinStiff :D

It hard for a lot of people to believe that they are among us. I don`t blame them, cause they (Bigfoot) are not everywhere, only in certain regions, I`m blessed to have them up here where I live, and the area has a lot of old folklore about them. Occasionaly, I will get an oldtimer to talk about them.

Dear twodollarpistol,
If you were really interested in proof and claim you were respectful,Why didn't you just ask me for my proof respectfully?

Please go back and read the posts and make a few notes....Your first post was sarcastic and I still responded respectfully and even added a little more information about the creature just in case behind your humor may have lied true interest, after that you left a post that was actually very respectful, then without even giving me a chance to respond to your second post you compared me to your wife seeing 3 turkey and thought they were black bear??? My next post I released even more of my findings and made a respectful attempt to clear a few things up, then you came back and mentioned plaster casts and blurry photos (which I never claimed to have) and accused me of making up excuses when I never even gave one, and then told me to "shut up respectfully"

For the record....I never tried to convince you or anyone else of anything, I was only sharing something strange I seen in the outdoors (which, since you ain't seen nothing strange you don't even need to be posting nothing) and also put more than once that I did not care if you believed me or not(which means I cared not about convincing anyone)

Finally....You never "hit a nerve"......Poking fun is one thing, putting down is another.

Truly,
Brian

I sent you a PM and told you I would love to come share a campfire with you anytime, and if you could show me anything for real, I would eat my words. You chose at that time to not respond to me in any way. Guess you were afraid I might take you up on it. Dont worry, now I wouldn't bother. Now... Mr Bulletmaker, you may have started this post, but my response was to Mr 7Mag and he is holding his own just fine in this thing and he don't seem to need a babysitter, so since you don't have a dog in THIS fight why don't YOU have that cup of coffey and chill. You guys just cant seem to stand any scrutiny about these things you swear are true. If you throw it out on the table, don't you expect someone to comment on it? Or do you just want other believers to pat you on the back and tell you what a wonderful thing you have done. Life just don't seem to be like that. I got a hunting cabin you can stay in. It aint pretty but its either that or get yourself a motel room.  Like I said, My word is good.

Hey twodollarpistol
I sent you a PM, inviting  you down for a Bigfoot hunt, this goes for 45LC also. though I didnt send him a P.M.
You never did send me a PM. to begin with. But that being said, people would`nt get so hostile towards, you if you wouldnt try to humilate them. Look at your post and see if you can honestly say you your being objective. :-D  I dont think so, you were being mean spirited, and then when some body tells you to shut the h-ll up, you start getting all defensive, like ( I didnt mean it that way, waaa waaa. B.S.) you did mean it that way, and yes this was not my fight, but you tried to intimidate me one time, and that dog dont hunt. buster. I`ve seen your type before, always got to bad mouth somebody, till your asked to show your hand.
Us people are telling stories of strange animals and encounters of  strange happenings. We dont need a bunch of rednicks, harrasing, us, and when the outside people read your post, they will not report their stories, for fear of being ridicluded also. you do us more harm than good.
Remember that the spoken word is a powerful weapon. The Bible, says the tongue can kill.

Mr bulletmaker
This will be my last responce to you. No need to bother yourself to reply unless you just want to vent some more. Im not interested in a prolonged dialogue with you. Let me start by saying I never offered personal insult and I never tried to humiliate any one. I also never claimed to be objective in any way about these stories. I laid my cards on the table from the start. I DONT BELIEVE IN BIGFOOT ! No matter who is telling the story. I dont believe in the Easter bunny or the bugger man either. It does amaise me though that when you tell some kind of outlandish unbeleavable story, you act surprised when someone doesnt believe it. Then you want to get all puffed up when asked for proof, and I have to back off before you bust or we get kicked off the forum. Again there never is proof just excuses. I have always said show me something real and I will eat my words. No one ever has. You are the one who gets hostile not me. I have never lashed out at you or anyone else or cursed anyone. And for the record, I dont whine Jack, and you can take that to the bank. I am not mean sprited and I am man enough that when I see that things are getting too hot or that I have offended someone or insulted them or hurt there feelings, I can and do apoligize. Dont ever mistake my benevolence for weakness or cowardess. Got it?      Mr 7Mag and I have come to an understanding about this. I dont hate him for believing, and he dont hate me for not believing.  He and I will get to disagree again sometime and have a little fun with each other. Perhaps you might want to stay out of it.
God Bless and have a great life.

TwoDollarPistol, I understand your point of view about Bigfoots (...feet?). I used to think the same way.  I gave some friends of mine, who claimed to have seen them, a pretty hard time and some merciless ribbing.  I'm a natural skeptic, and that's just my way of dealing with the unknown - prove it first before I'll believe it.  There are enough people already running around believing in things they don't understand - I don't need to join them.

But then I had one of these creatures walk up on me in the woods, and then another time had one follow me through the woods.  I don't say that these things were "Bigfoots", I just can attest that they were about 8-feet tall, covered in hair, one's eyes glowed (from reflecting the moonlight maybe?), and they scared me badly.

Too big for a man in a monkey suit (I got really, really close to the first one... not a monkey suit).  Just something that defies explanation.

Just my two-cents.

P.S. I don't believe any of the homemade movies, or half the stories told, either.

Hi SoloKane :D
Welcome to the believers club. You know exactly what I have been talking about. Could you maybe replay the story from the beginning?
I would love to hear the full story.

Mr SoloKane
Thank you Sir for at least understanding my point of view. There are two sides to every fried egg, and I do understand that as well. :D .

Bulletmaker I am truly hurt. I am still waiting for my PM. You extended Twodollar an invitation with a personal PM but I never got mine. :(  :(

I'd really like to see one of these creatures that you say exist but if you show me one I won't promise not to shoot. And if he charges its every man for himself and I can promise you one thing. I'll outrun you. :-D  :-D

This is my first time on this forum but it won't be my last. And in all good humor I probably will keep digging at you till our campout. Later Dude!
