I don't have one, but Boker does have a good rep. In this case though, I surely wouldn't like to try and gut a deer with that upswept trailing point; you'd have to be really careful not to puncture the gut. Make a nice skinner, since being hollow ground trying to slice deeper than the edge with it is a bit more difficult than with flat or convex grinds; but it will still work...lots of folks still use that grind. The steel is 440A which is known more for it's toughness than it's edgeholding, but it does take a satisfactory edge; at least the couple I've owned in that steel have. It'll do a deer easily enough. Has nice, graceful lines, which some folks really appreciate.
