Dumb and probably repetitive question........

How do these "new" Handi combos work??? Example - .243Win, 20Gauge, and .17HMR

How do they make these work mechanically changing from a centerfire to a rimfire on the same receiver?

Edited to change HR to HMR...fat finger mistake.

If they are like the 22 /410 Veras Pac , the RF has an offset bore and chamber .

If someone would buy one, we'd find out for sure, otherwise we're just speculating on what's been done in the past on the Versa Pack, which btw, they won't fit any other barrels to!!! RRArms.com has some youth models in stock if ya want to buy one and let us know!! ;D

I'm not sure I'm interested in owning one of those.  I was curious after reading other threads about combos because [as you stated] NEF won't fit rimfire barrels to centerfire frames.  I just didn't want to hi-jack someone else's thread with such a question.

Anyway, YOU should buy one....since you don't have very many Handis YET anyway. ;D ;)

 ;D Yeahbut, I already have all those calibers in complete firearms, so someone that NEEDS them should get one and let us know!! ;D Now if they offered them in a caliber combo that I NEED but don't have, that would be different! ;)

A combo with a 444 Marlin, 6.5x55 or 7x57 would be a start!! ;D

Why worry about that one??

Get a rimfire and a center fire, then get busy buying up barrels of both kinds and you'll have
it all.
