New "old" Handis
« on: January 29, 2007, 03:22:22 AM »
Thought you guys might be interested.
I went to my local gun shop this weekend.
He keeps a few handis in stock so I had to look.

Noticed two had laminate stocks that were green and brown.(Camo?)
One had ns s\n the other nt.
One was 270 adult with high comb and rail.
The other 243 straight grip youth with sights,
and said "comes with shotgun barrel.
Price tag said $279
The guns looked brand new but is it posible they were so high priced he has 2002 and 2003 guns in stock.

There is a gun shop around me that has a 22-250 w a bsa scope and bi pod that has been sitting on the case for at least the past 3 years and to think it could be mine for only $415 I have no idea how long this gun has been sitting there I only started going to this gun shop 3 years ago and quit going recently because of you guessed it high prices. I would think that its possible to have a over priced low budget gun sit for a long time.

I called Bison once and they told me they don't keep handis.
"Knobody wants a single shot anymore."
I drive by there on my way to the city probably twice a month but
don't stop because of this.
