postin a few !!

 hey guys had a friend here today with her new digital cam , got herto take some pics forme ,  thought id  drop them off here , these are the green stained laminates ive told a few of you guys i was going got 2 more dryin in the shop now and a couple more comin from list members ,  and i also  thought id  show all disbelievers  that iam not BS'in them when i was i have a 24in 22 hornet full bull barrel its the top one in the picsby its  self and  i took one of the barrel also , the other is a 357 in the middle  and 30/30 on bottom more to come

its the best shooting handi i have ever owned, ive shot groundpiggies from out to 150 yds before it loves 35gr vmax and 37 gr james calhoons, both over lil gun

Nice coloring.

Just too bad NEF makes them look so much like a boat paddle in shape.

To each his own, I just don't like them myself. Solely because of that UGLY shape.

But, others don't seem to mind so it's fine with me.

Long as they shoot is the main thing, right?

Shaner,

I like those.  Someday I'll have a little more time and I can get a chance to fool around with my Handi's a little more.  I just bought a 20.ga with pallet wood stocks on it that I just might try something like that with.  What type of stain did you use on that?  I'm just getting the twenty for the wood and I'll probably sell off the frame and barrel then find another Handi to put the wood on.  Anyway, those are nice looking pieces.

Shamer , you did good buddy ,  may have you do a set for me . can you get the stain in pink or light red for my daughter ? and is the butt stock on the Hornet a full size or a youth ? it looks shorter than the other ones

they look better in real life cant getthe true colors on the cams. its an oil base stain , i had a local hardware make for me , little this little that  mixing no its a full size stock i think what makes it look small is the old stlye black  big holed recoil pad that gun was an original , 22/250 i had in 1992  that developed the headspace problem , which is why they stopped  making them  back when, and thats how i gotthe hornet barrel it was a replacemnt  forthe bad 22/250
