Please help me with my #5 research
« on: January 28, 2007, 01:21:49 AM »
As many of you know, I've been collecting data on TLA #5s for over a year now.  If you have NOT responded to any requests I've made (or have never received a request) for data from your #5, I'd very much appreciate your help.  Please drop me a note and I'll send you a list of questions about the configuration of your gun.

If you HAVE responded to my survey, please email me as well.  It appears there is a variation in the rear sights that I wasn't aware of before and I'd like to add that info to what you have already provided.

Thanks!

Cubrock,

I know we've swapped info in years past but email your questionaire just to be sure.  Also, the info on the rear sight difference.

Boxhead,

I tried to send you an email, but your address is hidden in your profile.  I know we briefly discussed your #5 before.  If you would be so kind as to email me, I'll send you the list of survey questions.

Thanks!

Hi. I've got SN 849 in 45 colt 5.5 inch. Ialso bought the holster TLA was selling at the time. Shot it a fair amount for several years, probably not more than 100 in the last 10.

Sidecarbill,

Could you please email me so I can put you on the list to receive the new survey form when it is done?  Thank you!

I got one of those holsters with one of my #5s - very nice design.

Cubrock,

My .41 Magnum West Texas Flattop Target # T 251 (received yesterday! pics forthcoming) has no rear sight lock screw, and a "black-powder" type base pin screw. And it shore is purty!
