What kind of scopes are you all using on your M2's?
H&R Ultra Slug Hunter (12 ga.)
NEF SS Sidekick Muzzleloader (50 cal.)
Remington 870 Express (12 ga.)
Stevens 311-H SxS (20 ga.)
CZ 452 American (22lr)

I use a 3X9X40.  Should be sufficient for the M2.  When squirrel hunting in the woods I crank it down to 3X and when in open country I can crank it up to 9X if needed.  Just remember poi can change when going from one power to another.

I put a BSA Sweet 17 glass on both the M2 and HMR.

Haven't shot much yet, but, IF they'll hold up well. Think they'll be dandy.

Hmmm.....  I didn't know you could use a 'Sweet' on an M2.    How does it work?   I assume the ballistics are pretty close to the HMR out to 100 yards, but those scopes are designed for going out past that aren't they?    Or does it have an M2 turret?   I know BSA put out the 'Sweet' in a .223 and it comes with turrets for 50 gr., 55 gr., and 62 gr. bullets for the different ballistics of each round.

I have a 4-16x50AO on my HMR.   I'm in the 'if you can't see it, you can't hit it' class of shooters!!  ;)   14x really brings those gray squirrels in at 100+.
