St.Paul, MN...south suburban area, $1.86-$1.89 as of yesterday at 3:00pm. Most places are in that range. The higher prices are usually the stations next to the freeway(35w-35e). Hope they stay low for a while. I am back to drivin' the V10 pick-up for a while and she only gets about 11 around town. Kid's mini van (2nd car) crapped out and so they have my old beater Honda that gets 21 around town. Oh well, I gotta tell ya, those heated leather seats in the Lariat sure are nice when its cold like today. -8 this morning.

I'm paying around $1.25 Australian a litre for 98 octane right now.

That's around US$3.75 a US gallon.....

Gas is $1.98 (I think, I don't burn the crap except in the bikes and it's been snowing too long to remember) and diesel is $2.75 here. I dunno why it is so much as the refinery is across the street from the station and the stuff comes out of the ground 40 miles from here

Oh well, at least my diesel gets really good milage as compared to the V-10 gas I used to own.

well yu betterduck for cover jhahahhah sunday it was 185 to 199 everywhere yu looked , so we got like 3 inches of snow sunday night into monday hahahah now this afternoon its 2.25 to 2.17 heheehhe damn snow anyhow

Australia imports only about 30% of its oil. The rest is home grown from the local oil offshore oil fields.
All of our petrol is refined locally.
The trouble is that even though our locally produced oil is cheaper to recover than the imported oil, the oil companies charge world parity prices for it so it costs the same as middle east crude.
And on top of that there is about 30-50% (depending on the type of fuel) tax levied by the federal goverment.

Pity we can't run our cars on coal.
We have shiploads of cheap coal here but most of it goes either to electricity production or is shipped over to china......

I'd just come in from a trip around six or eight pumps on this side of Pueblo CO.

Nearly everyone of them match the others $2.07

News came on a few min later claiming it was dropping but, in Colo Springs $1.99.

This retirement and being sick has paid off recently for me. Only tanked up the car twice is
three months now. So they're getting wet pant legs waitin on me!!
