62 gr pills

Hey guys , i was in the neighborhood and stopped to say happy new years to all. Also have a ? about 62 gr imi bullets in my handi, does anyone use this weight ,and if so do they keyhole. Ive read that the 1-12 will work up to 63 gr. ??? Any input will be appreciated.     Thanks Mike

There are 2 bullets over 55gr that have been used sucessfully in the 1:12" Handi, the 63gr Sierra Varminter #1370 and the 64gr Win PP, the only way to know if the 62gr bullet will work, is to try it. It may in some and not in others when going over 55gr. Be sure to let us know so we can add it to the list of bullets to try!

I've tried the 60 grn Nosler partition in my 1 in 12 Handy and it groups about 1 in at 100yds. The 64 grn pp's just didn't shoot worth a damn in my rifle.

I shot some cheap factory 62 grain silver bears in mine it didnt like them at all they there all over the target it might have been because there where cheap ammo dont know thats the only heavy bullet i tried in mine
