Replacing both sights on 45-70 22" barrel
« on: January 17, 2007, 04:10:49 AM »
I would like to replace the rear sight with an FP type & an open blade insert to get 7" more sight radius.  Has anyone already figured what front sight to use. I think I've worked it out right using page 18 on the williams sight PDF but just not sure ---- anyone done this?  What works?

They have a sight calculator on brownells I found the other day or you can use the williams. I put the fp on mine it works fine with the factory front blade.
