which new crossbow ?
« on: January 17, 2007, 02:32:28 AM »
I am not new to Bow hunting but have not been involved with Crossbows for a long time.

Have a ten year old and wanted to get him started. Ohio has a min draw weight requirment on long bows. He is not ready for that so i was looking into purchasing a crossbow to be used for two or at max three years.

What would you buy?
keep your powder dry !!!

I reckon you be hunting with him as young as he is? So keep it simple an Excal Vixen would be about the best there is. Cost about $295 plus shipping.
