Stopped by wally word to pick up a couple of boxes they only had 1 at $22. I don't remember it being that high last time.
Anyone pick any up lately?

I was there last night too (Northwestern WI) and they also had one box for $22.

I have a box I bought in early 2006 that I use for warm up/sighting in at the range before I load up my reloads. The box has a $14.95 price tag on it and I bought at at my gunshop.

Remington just had a huge price increase. I hear that it was due to the price of metal. I wanted a box of just 140 Core lokt's
The price was 26.00 so I opted for the 27.00 dollar Federal  premiums. Makes me wonder if I should go with a 243 instead

All ammo has gone up due to the metal prices.......gas prices, food prices, you name it. WWB 45gr. was $11.28 a box at Academy last year before the PD shoot. I picked up many boxes at that price and still have plenty left. Glad I did now.

Like2hunt that is a great price I burned up all my cheap stuff (son did most of it) but acadamy is 22 or so as well now. I guess i'll have to break down & get some & find a hand load they will shoot. Have't worked on the 223 much when wwb was cheap :(

I have checked two Walmarts and the local Sportsman's WH.  No WWB in 223.  Sportsman's has 308 and 22-250, but no 223.

So, I bought a 200 round box of Remington UMC.  This is 45 gr HP like the WWB.  It was $68 or $69 for the box.  It's worth a try for all you guys looking for the WWB that seems to be more and more scarce.

I am quite fond of the WWB and it has been difficult to find in PDX of late.  I bought a case about three months ago for $13 a box and now it is up to $16.  Sportsman's Warehouse is the only place I have seen recently.
