Del -

WELCOME to the board!

Good question.  Where in MO?

It might be they just import cannons.

Several of our members here have Missouri Cannon works guns.  Never heard any of them complain.  Prices seem reasonable.  From descriptions on their website sounds like they are making the guns right.

Put their name in the Google search Window at the Top of the board and you find all the posts mentioning them.

Why not talk with the sponsors of this forum. Ya know they are the folks paying to keep it operating so you can have this medium to ask such questions so why not start there and see if you can't find what you're looking for.

Using their phone number and a online reverse directory the best I could do is come up with is possibility Sedalia MO.
I may not be completely sane, but at least I don't think I have the power to influence the weather.

If none of them do then we must need still one more sponsor at least then. Did you call or e-mail any and ask?

Graybeard , I emailed Neff just to see if they would build a full scale cannon and also Wesley Pilley to see if he could or would build one . The rest seem to be smaller scale cannons .

I think full scale is what Seacoast mostly does. Have you talked with them?

Now understand I'm NOT a cannon guy and don't pretend to know much of anything about them and really haven't looked that deeply into what the advertisers here do make and sell cuz I'm not really interested in cannons personally. That's why Doug and Tim are running this not me.  :o

You're doin' a great job, Bill, keep up the good work.   ;D

We'll try to find a maker of full-size cannons too.

Del20d - Sorry I missed your post on here the past couple days. I was up near the DMZ on a 3 day ski trip. I currently have an order in with Missouri Cannon Works for a full scale 12 pound (4.52") Confederate Coehorn Mortar. I won't get a chance to see my mortar until I get back to MO in early May. Yes, he is located near Warsaw, MO, I send checks to him regularly from South Korea. He was very, very helpful and generous with his replies to all the questions I had before I placed my order with him. I don't believe that they are sponsers on this board, but I believe that they post every once in a while by the name of Kuntrykouple. There is also a fellow that posts on here by the name of John N that just purchased a 2/3rd scale Model 1841 6 pounder from Missouri Cannon Works (posted back in October). John N sounded very pleased with the cannon that he got from Missouri Cannon Works. All I can say is email John at Missouri Cannon Works and ask him questions or give him a call. Tell him I recommended that you talk with him.

Thanks for the reply mac-hunter , I talked with john and he kinda seemed short about the questions I asked him , I spoke with South Bend replicas and Paul their was great to talk to and very helpful , also spoke to Bruce at paulson Bros. and he helped me out greatly , so we chose to order a cannon from these folks over Missouri cannon works . Attitude sells and south bend and paulson bros both had very nice attitudes towards me . Thank You everyone for your help !!!

Jason, thank you so much for the vote of confidence! Your build is  going great, since I have till april I have not been busting hump on it! But all is well. and it is going to be quite a mortar!!  Del I do appologize if my answers seemed short, They were written answers, I am sorry you had taken them to be "short"  but I dont recall a phone call from you to speak to me in person per say. You had asked for contact information of my customers, That would be no different than giving that info to telemarketers. I hope you understand although you may have been a potential customer we still have to protect the privacy of our customers, I more than welcome any feedback on our cannons but we have a firm policy that we DO NOT for any reason give out that  information. We also do not open our shop to the public to keep the cost of liability insurance down a savings we pass on to the customer. I am sure The paulson boys will do a wonderful job I have seen their works personally and you will be happy with them 100%!
Thanks
John
