Just got me a new toy...

I just picked up a sw99 in .45 auto.  I haven't got to shoot it yet but I am excited.  Anyone of you guys had any experiance with one?

Don't get discouraged about the forums, sometimes the right people just aren't logged in.  I have no personal experience with the SW99's other than that some of the older ones have a not-so-good trigger.  I Believe they are supposed to be reliable though.  Let us know how it shoots.

The SW99's have been out a long time and have proven to be very good guns. They are S & W's version of the Walther P99 which is imported by S & W. I've never shot one but I have never heard anything bad about the trigger on a SW99. I do own a S & W Sigma SW9VE which has a very hard trigger but is a very dependable pistol (at least mine is).
S & W's newest product, the M & P  is taking front center stage to most of their older products. 1911's being the exception since they will never take back stage to anything.
