New to FA Compare to Ruger
« on: January 05, 2007, 03:31:32 AM »
I have a Ruger SBH .41 mag Bisley, and would like to compare the difference's between Freedom Arms and Ruger. From what I have read I know Quality between to two there is no comparison.

Questions.
1- can you get a bisley frame
2- is the FA frame bigger or smaller a Ruger Blackhawk
3- trigger pull ? Rugers are terrible
4- FA have two grades , what is the difference?

                            Thanks  Mick 41

1 - No
2 - Both frames are very close in size
3 - Trigger pull on the FAs are great.  Rugers triggers can be made nice.
4 - Field and Premeir.  The premeir has more polishing done on the finish.  I have both samples and prefer the field grade for hunting purposes as well as the premeir grade sights.  The Premeir has a lifetime warranty and the Field grade has one year; both to the original owner.  FAs customer service is so good I have not been worried about the warranty.  They want their product to perform as it should and have taken very good care of me in ehte past on used revolvers I have purchased.

Hope this helps.
