Handi Rifle Serial prefix NU and HP

I have these prefixes on my two frames that I have for my handi's. NU and HP. Can you tell me when these were manufactured and if they are compatible to change barrels to the bigger caliber barrels marked with the asterick? Or any barrels for that matter?

P=2000, U= 2004. Every barrel offfered except those for a 10ga. will work.
