Neck Sizing in a Handi?

Anyone using a Lee collet die to neck-size 30-06 for a Handi? Any troubles with chambering or extraction/ejection?

I only have a collet die for the hornet, but I partial full length resize, aka neck size, all of my ammo that's to be fire in the same rifle. I have to bump the shoulder back once in a while, but it works well and should make the brass last longer. No problems with ejection at all. Due to frame flex on stouter loads/calibers, neck sizing only won't work all the time, you'll need a full length die set or a body die sooner or later.

Thanks, Tim. I started buying the Lee Collet dies a while back, and have pretty much quit neck-sizing with full-length dies. The only problem I've had with them is loose bullets on one batch of .30-40 brass when I didn't lean hard enough on the press arm. I do have the full-length dies, but I like to avoid using them when I can.

I thought I'd heard of troubles with neck-sizing in Handi's, but I guess I'll give it a try!

I have been neck sizing my .223 Handi and have never had to 'bump' the shoulder yet. Loads are near the top. But of course the forces on the action would be significantly less than that of a 30-06.
