New .243

Bought a NEF .243 Youth Model today. Put a scope I had laying around on it and went and sighted it in. My grand daughter may be ready next year and you don't see many of them around here, so went ahead and picked it up. Shoots good with Winchester 95 grain Ballistic Silvertips, but sure wish we had the ejector back. :-\ :-\

You sound like a pretty darn good grandpa to me. Your grand daughter will someday realize what you have done for her by sharing your love for firearms.

Thanks! She's a great kid. Has started shooting one of my old .22's some and really likes it. Can't wait until she is old enough to get out in the field with me.
