Trigger Jobs

I found an Ultra 25-06 in a local store.  The trigger is pretty stiff.  Does H&R do trigger jobs?

Just sent my SB1 in last week for a Tracker II 20ga bbl. Customer service said they will tune it down to 3# for $20, so that is being done too.

Mine was at 4.5 lbs so I didn't qualify for the freebee. Not a bad deal, especially since you only have to do it once per frame. A trigger job done by anyone other than yourself would normally run at least $50.

Check out the links section...do it yourself.

Takes about 1 to 1.5 hours the first time.  30 minutes the second......and then you start doing them for your friends!  :)

$20 for a trigger job plus shipping isn't a bad deal . NEF / H&R will get it done faster than most gunshops that are backed up with work . It would cost me more than $50 to have it done by a local gunsmith !

If you do one yourself as acloco mentioned, you'll see how easy they are to do, and see why H&R does them for just $20! The last one I did came out to 2lbs-6oz with just a little honing, 25-30 minutes. My 45-120 BC is at 21oz. ;)
