I love my lefty 22 Hornet, mine has a 22" barrel.  I'm not a fan of the 20" barrel otherwise I'd be thinking of adding another one to my collection.

The Micro is definitly a good carry rifle for deer hunting. I have a cousin who uses one. If I did not already have a Remington Model 7, I would have bought one after shooting his.

Hello Tennbuck,

I have an old Micro Med. in 257R, and a newer Micro Hunter in 243. Both are sub MOAs. 257 with hand loaded Noslers and the 243 will shoot .75" with factory Remington 100grainers. They are awesome rifles. When you factor in the quality detachable magazine, convenient and quiet top tang safety, and 60 degree bolt I don't think they can be beat. The only time I don't carry the micros is if I'm field hunting from a blind. Then I use the 280 A-bolt. I'm only 5'6" and these rifles are the perfect size. Don't hesitate about the barrel length. 20" is plenty for it in .308. You won't be disappointed.

I have two of them one in  7mm-08 and the other in 223 rem both sub MOA shooters. Great little carry rifle! I also like the shorter stock when bundled up wearing heavier clothing while stand hunting
