New BC Buttstock
« on: December 24, 2006, 11:28:11 AM »
Last time I took my BC to the range I was testing for accuracy with three different bullet types and powder weights.  The weather was warm, my shirt was thin, and I ended up with a bruised shoulder, a sore molar, and the beginnings of a flinch.  I promised myself that next time I had a bit of spending money I'd replace the buttstock.  Well, I just installed a new buttstock for a Handi rifle.  It has a pistol grip and a thick rubber butt pad.  It really feels good and should let me focus more on aiming than on getting hurt!

I hear ya...They can hurt without a real recoil pad...If you want to get rid of that ole BC stock...let me know...I might be interested in it if you want to sell it.. ;)

Thanks fer asking Mac, but I'll be holding on to the old buttstock just in case I ever decide to sell the rifle.  As good as it shoots, that's not likely.  Now if the relatively nice weather will hold for the rest of the week here in Pa I might get to the range.
