Browning repair service?
« on: December 22, 2006, 03:50:47 PM »
I have a BLR ,it is two years old.  It seems like the trigger pull is really getting nasty! Long hard and creepy. Also, the hammer seems to have a drag to it when pulling it back. Is there any use to send it back to Browning to have it looked at? Have heard many bad stories about sending a rifle in only to get it back with a letter stating that nothing is wrong. Any opinions? Thanks....

I don't know about Browning rifles but I was having problems with my 9MM high power; took it to 2 gunsmiths who either couldn't duplicate the hammer bite or the slide not staying open after the last shot; sent it to browning; they fixed it free of charge and even replaced the hammer; it's been shooting fine; I was very satified with their service
