Model 915
« on: December 21, 2006, 03:01:36 AM »
I just purchased a Model 915 for a total of $302.00. It is in excellent condition, and a second aftermarket magazine was included.

Does anyone have any experience with this particular model?

Useful information on this pistol is apparently rare. I went through a stack of gun mags I collected over the years, and only found one decent article on the 915 in the July/August 1993 issue of " American Handgunner".
If at first you don't succeed, by all means try again. But if this doesn't work, give up, because there is no sense in making a darn fool of yourself.

I had a 915 for a while.  It's just a plain jane budget priced third generation Smith & Wesson in a matte black finish.  It lacks the ambidextrous safey and a few other minor cosmetic differences of the more expensive model 5904.  Should be just as reliable as any other S&W pistol of it's type.
