Pro Hunter vs Regular Stainless Encore
« on: December 16, 2006, 10:49:40 AM »
I have two Encores (well.... one of them belongs to my wife) both are blue, mine is wood & hers is synthetic!

I'd like to get one in stainless w/synthetic!
I'd like to get one in 280 Rem!
My question is: Is the Pro Hunter "A LOT" more money than a regular Encore in stainless?
Any idea how much money we're talking about?

Thanks guys!

Close to if not more than $200.00 difference. But well worth it to me.

Thanks Redhawk1, I thought you'd respond, I know you have both!

So, I guess I'm looking at between $700 & $800., maybe a little over, depending on the dealer!

I have heard "BS" prices around here of $1,100.00 and up!

You are right on in the $700 to a little over $800 range.

all preference, I like the standard version better. I like the  shorter 26" barrel over the 28" and I think the standard is a little lighter weight . Dont care for the new thumb hole stock I tried so be selling it too.

It's nice to have a company that offers choices. That way, we can all get what we want with the dollars that we wish to spend.
