Liquid nitrogen?
« on: December 15, 2006, 11:49:11 AM »
I'm looking into the posibility of getting a heat treat oven for stainless, instead of sending it off for heat treat.  I love Paul Bos's work, but it's a little time consuming to get a batch together and sent to him when I could do three or four blades myself.  The stoping point is lack of liquid nitrogen, I know from testing it realy makes a performance differance in stainless and to a lesser degree with carbon steels.

Where could I get a thermos sized amount at a time? ???

They say they sell cylinders for small volume applications: but they don't say how small...you might give them a call. Can't hurt, might help
