New BLR

Well i pickrd up my new BLR today and now i am just waiting for a new leopold scope i ordered from Midway i bought the VX-III 1.5.5x20 with the German #4 recticle.I probibly wont get to the range til after CHRISTmas , but i just wanted to share this with you guys. Oh yeah it a .358 Winchester. Later Tanoose

Tanoose, Congradulations on your new BLR. The Browning BLR is my favorite hunting rifle and the 358 is a wonderful hunting caliber. Great choice of scope also. Leupolds are hard to beat although they are getting pretty expensive.

I have a 81 series in 358 with a leupold 2-7 on it and a 358 pre 81 that has a peep sight set up on it. Verry versitle you can load reduced loads with 357mag pistol bullets and 180- 250gr hunting loads. Hope you enjoy your new rifle. Byron

Thanks Pastorp i realy like this one the only thing i did was take of the 1" hard rubber recoil pad and fitted a rugular plastic butt plate , i needed it a little shorter. I got my scope the other day and mounted it the only thing is when i ordered the scope i ordered the #55010 which is the german #4 recticle i ordered this because the scope didn't come with the Post /Duplex  i wanted, but i beleive i got the Post/Duplex recticle not the german # 4. If some one is familiaar with the german # 4 maybe you can take a minute and go to the Midway USA website and find the picture of the  leupold 1.5x5x20 with the german#4 and tell me what recticle that is that they are showing. That is the one i wanted and got but isn't that the Post/Duplex ?
