I have to point out that iamsniper1 does make a point when he points to the listing that claims an unfired barrel is a tack driver.... how the heck does the seller know it is a tack driver if it ain't ever been fired at at tack! Or anything else for that matter.

As for the rest of it... caveat emptor (buyer beware) rules at eBay. I have sold a couple of barrels on eBay over the years, sometimes I am surprised by how hight the bidding goes, sometimes, I've been disappointed... so I guess 'seller beware' could apply too (and I don't know the latin for that one

) I don't put a reserve price on anything I sell at an auction, so my starting price is also the absolute minimum I will accept for an item. If I get only the minimum, then it ain't nobody's doin but my own. And when I get a ridiculous price higher than expected, it ain't something I'll complain about.
Personally I have never bought a barrel from eBay, only from the factory, or only from this forum. I have found the occassional deal on stocks or scopes or other accessories, but never felt the need to buy a barrel there.
